The Genesis Sidekick is a very good choice if you do not have one of those alternate airsource combos such as the Atomic SS1 or the Seaquest Airsource.
The Sidekick was designed to eliminate loose hanging octos, to offer users a compact and lightweight secondary source as well as to eliminate an extra hose from the first stage.
The sidekick hooks up directly to the first stage and a small attached hose is then attached to the power inflator.
As with any secondary airsource, the Sidekick wil not win any smooth air delivery contest but it does its job.
It is a good and solid performer and for those of you that don't have a combo, it might be a good choice as it is moderately priced at just over $100.
