My first dive computer was the Genesis React. While it did all the functions divers would need, there was still one feature I wanted on my computer. Air integration capability.

On my first dive, I found just how useful air integration is. On our deep dive, I had the remaining air time constantly being fed to me by the display as well as it gave me visual and audible warnings for max depth. I had set it to warn me at 100ft, which the computer did on the dime. Display is easy to read with big letters and numbers. The optional QD (Quick Disconnect) proved to be a neat addition as it made cleaning and logs downloading a breeze. The optional compass also worked well. See here for a larger PICTURE
The software while complete, lack of some displays if compared to Chex's Cobra software. That is the only beef I have with the wisdom. Perhaps Sherwood will upgrade their software with more features and make it comparable to the Sunnto Cobra. Ice's Aeris AI did not surprise me when he showed me his downloaded logs that had the same display and presentation as my Wisdom. Our software was pretty much identical in features and presentation. Also, when I lost the CD, sherwood would not offer me a replacement unless I bought the whole set again for US$100 or even a download version like Suunto offers on their website. Come on guys, we are at the technology age, downloadable software from your company's website is not that hard.
Rated as Scuba Tester's Choice by Rodale's, I had no doubt that it would work well for me. I enjoy using this computer and completely feel safe with it. I would defintely recommend this computer to any recreational diver.
